The objective of this work was to design an extraordinary terrace adjacent to the existing building, incorporating a sunken seating area, and planting beds with a small play area for children. This design needed to harmonize with the architecture of the existing building and the surrounding environment. The challenge was incorporating the old and new in the way this design would be integrated seamlessly with the landscaping.

As a result, a terrace design was created, featuring a streamlined seating area with an outdoor kitchen and planting beds. The seating area was combined with planter boxes for cultivating various perennials and herbs. The play area was integrated with woody plants that bloom in spring, and the play equipment chosen included swings and a slide. The area in front of the building was made more interesting with planting beds, combining perennials with large stones.
