Planning to start design works but your property is on former agricultural land or forested area and where there is a likelihood of finding protected plants or valuable plant habitats and the value of those need to be determined before design work begins.

Herbaceous plants survey provides an overview of habitat types, species composition, prevalence, and the condition of the habitats. It is important to conduct all the necessary site investigations before the design phase starts. However, it should be noted that herbaceous plants can be inventoried during the vegetation period when the shoots of the plants with identifiable characteristics are visible, and therefore, we conduct surveys only from May to September.
